Senior Accountant – Corporate Benefits Accounting

A Fortune 300 global manufacturing company is looking to add a Senior Analyst – Corporate Benefits Accounting to its Corporate Accounting team. This is an excellent opportunity for an accountant looking to gain exposure to SEC reporting, complex accounting, and cross-functional business partnering within a highly respected global organization.

In this role, you'll own the accounting and reporting for the company's U.S. employee benefit plans while partnering closely with HR, Treasury, Tax, External Reporting, and outside auditors.

• Own the monthly, quarterly, and annual close for employee benefit plan accounting
• Prepare journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial analyses
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
• Assist with SEC reporting, Forms 10-Q and 10-K disclosures, and benefit plan audits
• Partner with actuaries, third-party administrators, and internal business leaders
• Identify process improvements and strengthen internal controls

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
• 2–4 years of accounting experience (public accounting, corporate accounting, or a combination)
• Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP and the month-end close process
• CPA (or progress toward certification) is a plus Advanced Excel skills and strong analytical abilities
