Guarantee Trust Life Insurance Company (GTL) is currently seeking a Receptionist to join our team.

This position is required to work on‑site in our Chicagoland (Glenview, IL) office most days. Everyone receives three flexible remote days per month and six additional Friday PTO days each year. We also offer half‑day Fridays.
What You Will Be Doing- Greet guests and inform employees of their guest’s arrival.
- Discern the nature and purpose of calls coming in through the switchboard and direct them accordingly.
- Requires a positive and professional manner and basic knowledge of the operations of the company.
- Send out mailings.
- Projects for other departments throughout the company—for example, data entry in Excel, creation of word documents, entering data and maintaining policies on internal systems.

- Professional, polished presentation and demeanor
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
- Enjoy interaction with people and take pride in making a great first impression
- Able to multi‑task with detail‑oriented focus
- High school diploma or equivalent; 1–2 years of college is preferred
- Customer Service experience a plus
- Experience with Data Entry, Word & Excel software a plus
- Hourly pay range for this role is $24‑$26, commensurate with experience
The pay range provided is not a guarantee of compensation. The range reflects potential pay for the job grade for this role at the time of this posting. Compensation will depend on several factors such as specific competencies, relevant education and experience, qualifications, and industry certifications. Compensation ranges are subject to change and may be higher or lower than the range described above.
