Guarantee Trust Life Insurance Company (GTL) is currently seeking a Receptionist to join our team.
The Receptionist is responsible for greeting guests, answering the telephone, directing calls, and providing exceptional customer service. The Receptionist provides a fluid transition for external parties visiting or calling the company.
All employees receive 3 flexible remote days per month and 6 additional Friday PTO days each year, with half‑day Fridays.
What you will be doing- Greet guests and inform employees of their guest's arrival.
- Discern the nature and purpose of calls coming in through the switchboard and direct them accordingly.
- Send out mailings.
- Projects for other departments throughout the company – for example, data entry in Excel, creation of Word documents, entering data and maintaining policies on internal systems.
- An outgoing and poised personality.
- Professional, polished presentation and demeanor.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
- Enjoy interaction with people and take pride in making a great first impression.
- Able to multi‑task with detail‑oriented focus.
- High school diploma or equivalent; 1–2 years of college is preferred.
- Customer Service experience a plus.
- Experience with Data Entry, Word & Excel software a plus.
- Hourly pay range for this role is $24–$26, commensurate with experience.
