This role focuses on structured exploration of future growth opportunities, enterprise innovation, institutional market sensing, and development of scalable new business concepts aligned with CHEST’s mission and strengths.
PrimaryPurpose:
The Director, Enterprise Innovation & Venture Strategy leads the exploration, validation, and development of future enterprise growth opportunities for CHEST.
This role serves as the connective strategist between external market dynamics and CHEST’s internal strategic evolution. The Director identifies emerging trends, unmet institutional needs, and areas where CHEST may have a differentiated “right to win,” then collaborates cross-functionally to develop validation pathways, pilot concepts, and scalable business models.
Working across Strategy, Product Strategy, Program Strategy, Marketing, Finance, and executive leadership, the Director helps shape enterprise innovation priorities and builds structured frameworks for evaluating future organizational growth opportunities.
Bring strong knowledge of healthcare market dynamics, healthcare economics, innovation strategy, and business model development to all initiatives.
Essential Functions / Responsibilities Enterprise Innovation & Market Strategy- Validated enterprise growth opportunities with evidence of market demand
- Development of financially grounded business cases and pilot frameworks
- Clear go/no-go recommendations supported by structured analysis
- Improved organizational capability around innovation and venture evaluation
- Strong cross-functional alignmet around future growth opportunities
- Creation of scalable frameworks for enterprise opportunity development
- Master’s degree in Business Administration (MBA), Healthcare Administration (MHA), Public Health (MPH), or related field strongly preferred.
- 10+ years of experience in healthcare strategy, enterprise innovation, venture development, corporate strategy, or healthcare market development.
