Responsibilities- Correspond with customers and suppliers to meet service expectations across all parties
- Take ownership of shipments from tender through delivery, proactively identifying and resolving service issues to ensure on-time performance and customer satisfaction
- Maintain a working knowledge of customer requirements, industry standards, and market trends
- Quote customer opportunities and coordinate shipments from tender through delivery
- Manage order entry, dispatch, tracking, scheduling, delivery monitoring, and accessories
- Identify and support organic sales opportunities through excellent service and relationship building
Essential Skills &
Qualifications:
- Strong customer service mindset: communicative, consistent, proactive, and professional
- Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, organizational, and time management skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to develop and maintain strong customer and carrier relationships
- Solid computer proficiency, including general business systems and Microsoft Office
