Fitness Desk Staff

Job Summary

Park Center Health and Fitness is looking for an energetic and motivated individual to be a part of our fitness team.

• Check patrons into computer system, answer phone, and complete transactions.
• Ensure patrons follow rules, encourage cleaning of machines, and provide excellent customer service.
• Perform cleaning and organization tasks: refill amenities, laundry, clean locker rooms, machines, and desk.
• Give tours and track inquiry information.
• Provide equipment orientations to new members.
• Provide first aid to patrons as needed.
• Job requires bending, lifting, and standing for long periods.

• A friendly, enthusiastic, and energetic personality a must.
• Proven success in a prior customer service role highly desirable.
• Outstanding communication skills, both in person and over the phone.
• Computer skills essential.
• A self-starter who takes initiative to complete a variety of tasks.
• Applicants must be 18 years old or older.

This is a year-round part-time three (PT3) position.

Starting pay is $16.00 to $18.00 per hour depending on qualifications.

Position will work approximately 15 to 20 hours per week.

• Set schedule:
  Monday through Thursday 3:45pm to 7pm plus Sundays 11:45pm to 5:30pm.
• Opportunity to be scheduled for additional shifts outside of the specific shifts.
• Required to work the annual July Fitness Event and attend all meetings/trainings.
