“Recreate” a better life with a career in the field of Parks & Recreation!”JOB SUMMARYPark Center Health and Fitness is looking for an energetic and motivated individual to be a part of our fitness team.

Responsible for the fitness center during assigned shifts including:

Fitness Desk Staff will check patron into computer system, answer the phone and complete transactions on the computer.

They will ensure patrons are following the rules, encourage patrons to clean their machines, and provide great customer service.

Cleaning and organization are key in keeping our facility enjoyable for patrons by refilling amenities, doing laundry and cleaning locker rooms, machines and desk.

Give tours and keep track of inquiry information

Give equipment orientations to new members.

Providing first aid to patrons may be needed.

Job requires bending, lifting and standing for long periods of time.

QUALIFICATION SA friendly, enthusiastic and energetic personality a must.

Proven success in a prior customer service role highly desirable.

Outstanding communication skills both in person and over the phone.

Computer skills essential.

A self-starter who takes initiative to complete a variety of tasks.

Applicants must be 18 years old or better.

SCHEDULING & PAYThis is a year-round part-time; no seasonal applicants, please. Starting pay is $16 to $18 per hour depending on qualifications.

Position will work approximately 15 to 19 hours / week:

Set schedule of Wednesday & Friday 4:15am to 9am plus Sundays 6:15am to 12pm.

There is also the opportunity to be scheduled for additional shifts outside of the specific shifts.

Required to work the annual July Fitness Event and attend all meetings/trainings.
