Dental Assistant

General Overview

Are you a Dental Assistant looking for a privately owned practice where you can make a difference every day? Do you enjoy building relationships with patients and being part of a close-knit, supportive team? If so, we'd love to talk with you!

If you're interested in expanding your skills beyond chairside assisting, this could be a great opportunity for you. We're looking for someone who is excited to learn additional aspects of the practice, including patient communication, answering phones, and scheduling.

This is a part-time position offering $22-$24 per hour, based on experience, plus a 401(k) with employer match. There is also the opportunity to pick up additional days as practice needs evolve.

Current

Schedule:

• Monday: 10:00 AM - 7:00 PM
• Friday: 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM
• Saturday: 8:00 AM - 1:00 PM (2 Saturdays per month)

As part of our team you will be responsible for the following (not limited to):

• Welcome patients and get them situated in the appropriate treatment room.
• Assist the doctor in providing care to the patient.
• Be knowledgeable of existing and emerging technologies and clinical initiatives that impact the back-office experience.
• Actively monitor lab materials and supplies.
• Develop a relationship with the patient.
• Follow all OSHA/HIPAA guidelines.
• Clean and sterilize instruments and prepare treatment rooms as needed.
• Take, expose, and mount high quality dental radiographs.
• Contribute to the team in achieving business objectives to accomplish goals.
• Maintain a safe and secure environment for patients and team.

• 1 year of experience working as a Dental Assistant
• High school diploma or GED.

• Experience with Dental Softwares as Denticon, is a plus
