Junior Interior Designer

This is a full-time, on-site Junior Interior Designer position at our Glenview, IL office. The Junior Interior Designer will contribute to various aspects of interior design projects, including creating layouts, assisting with concept development, and collaborating on space planning. Tasks include preparing construction drawings, selecting FF&E (furniture, fixtures, and equipment), and collaborating with team members to execute design visions. The role also involves coordinating with vendors and ensuring all design elements meet project timelines and quality standards.

• Proficiency in Space Planning and applying innovative design principles to create functional layouts.
• Knowledge of Architecture and proficiency in creating and interpreting Construction Drawings.
• Experience in Interior Design, including concept development and execution of design projects.
• Familiarity with FF&E selection, sourcing, and specifications.
• Proficiency in design software (e.g., Chief Architect (preferred) AutoCAD, Sketch Up, or similar) and strong creative and organizational skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills for working with clients and team members.
• Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field is preferred.
• Prior experience in an interior design-related role is an advantage but not mandatory for junior candidates.
