Make a meaningful impact supporting students as a School Psychologist in a dynamic educational setting near Glenview, IL. This flexible position offers both part-time (20-24 hours per week) and full-time (37.5 hours per week) options to suit your availability.

You'll manage a caseload conducting between 20 to 40 evaluations each year, collaborating closely with dedicated teams to drive positive outcomes for students.

Desired Qualifications and Experience
  • Professional licensure as a School Psychologist (state certification required)
  • Experience with in K-12 schools preferred
  • Solid understanding of special education laws and IEP process
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize student needs
  • Background in conducting psycho educational assessments
Key Responsibilities
  • Complete comprehensive special education evaluations for assigned students
  • Facilitate and participate in IEP meetings, working collaboratively with staff and families
  • Serve as a resource to the Multi-Tiered System of Supports (MTSS) team by offering interventions and behavioral supports
  • Consult with teachers, parents, and administrators regarding student mental health and learning challenges
  • Maintain detailed assessment records and documentation in accordance with state and federal guidelines
  • Participate in regular team meetings within school hours (8 am-4 pm)
