As an Instructional Aide substitute, you’ll partner closely with educators to help students thrive academically, socially, and behaviorally. Whether working one‑on‑one or assisting in small groups, you’ll have an immediate impact in classrooms that value compassion, patience, and teamwork.
What You’ll Do- Supervise and support students throughout the school day, reinforcing positive behavior and classroom engagement
- Offer 1:1 or small‑group instructional support at the direction of teaching staff
- Help students with classroom routines, transitions, and daily participation
- Implement IEP goals and behavior plans under school staff guidance
- Assist with mobility, supervision, and personal care needs where necessary
- Foster a safe, inclusive, and respectful setting that encourages student growth
- High school diploma or GED
- Minimum age of 18 years
- Current TB test (or willingness to obtain per district requirements)
- Ability to stand, walk, and physically assist as needed
- Willingness to complete all required background clearances prior to starting
- Work experience in schools, child care, or supporting students with special needs or behavioral challenges
- Familiarity with autism support, CPI, PMT, or RBT credentials (not required)

Compensation for this position ranges from $19.42 to $30.42.
