Spanish Teacher

Glenbrook South High School's World Languages department is seeking a Spanish Teacher for the 2026-27 school year.

Candidates are required to hold or be eligible for a Professional Educator License with a World Language endorsement in Spanish.

Do you have a bachelor’s degree, proficiency in Spanish, and interest in making a difference in the lives of students, but do not currently hold a Professional Educator License? You may be eligible for an Illinois transitional bilingual educator license. Candidates who have not yet obtained the required Illinois license are encouraged to apply. Our Human Resources team will assist eligible candidates in understanding and navigating the application process for the Educator License with Stipulations–Transitional Bilingual Educator, including the required documentation and language proficiency requirements.

Licensure eligibility and approval are determined by the Illinois State Board of Education.

To create a comprehensive high school experience, the Glenbrooks focus on four distinct areas:
