Glenbrook High School District 225 is seeking qualified candidates for the position of Human Resources Specialist
, with a start date of September 15, 2026, or earlier. This is a year-round role operating on a 239-day school work calendar.
The Human Resources Specialist is responsible for supporting all Human Resources functions, with a strong emphasis on recruitment and onboarding, compliance, and other HR-related responsibilities across all employee groups. The person in this position is also responsible for retention, satisfaction, and productivity, helping ensure the department runs efficiently and delivers high levels of customer service.
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, business management, or other relevant field preferred.
- Minimum of two (2) years of experience in the role of Human Resources Specialist, Generalist, or Coordinator.
- Experience working in the education setting (preferred).
- Experience working with Skyward and Red Rover (preferred).
- Ability to present and produce documents at a high level of sophistication.
- Ability to make rational decisions, problem-solve, and effectuate change.
- Ability to establish and maintain a collegial relationship with all departments.
- An equivalent combination of training and experience may be used to meet the qualifications requirements.
