FP&A Senior Analyst will work under our Finance Department. This role will work closely with department managers to identify business drivers and project their impact for the company.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities- Collaborate with all departments to gather and analyze financial data, including revenue, expenses, and capital expenditures
- Prepare comprehensive financial models, forecasts, and budgets to support short‑term and long‑term planning over various time frames
- Analyze results for reasonableness and accuracy, making adjustments as necessary and providing output along with recommendations to department leaders for planning future growth
- Perform sensitivity and scenario analysis to assess the potential impact of various economic factors on the company’s performance
- Create financial reports and dashboards to simplify financial results
- Help develop and track financial KPIs related to our performance against budgets and forecasts
- Work with Accounting Manager on weekly vendor payment strategies
- Initiate EFT payments
- Perform ad hoc analysis and projects as requested
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting (or related field); MBA or relevant professional certification preferred
- 3+ years of financial planning and analysis experience
- Experience building financial models
- Working knowledge of GAAP (generally accepted accounting principles)
- Exceptional skills working with Microsoft Excel, Power Query, ERP systems (Sage X3 is a plus), SQL, Power BI development, & Tableau development a plus
- Strong quantitative and analytical competency
- Ability to logically connect ideas, scrutinize and evaluate arguments, find inconsistencies and errors in work, solve complex problems, and engage in reflection
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills at all levels to communicate with internal and external stakeholders articulatively
- Ability to work beyond regularly scheduled hours during peak periods or critical operations
- Must possess adequate vision, hearing, and verbal communication skills to meet essential job performance and safety standards
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods and regularly perform physical tasks such as pushing, pulling, lifting, climbing, bending, stooping, squatting, and using hands for detailed tasks
- Physically capable of performing tasks such as lifting, climbing, and using hand and power tools, including pallet jacks, scales, ladders, and standard material handling and cleaning equipment
- Capable of safely lifting up to 50 pounds frequently throughout the day; ability to handle heavier items with proper lifting equipment or team‑assisted techniques to ensure safety
Employees must be able to work in a dynamic manufacturing environment that may include exposure to odors, dust, moderate noise levels, and fluctuations in temperature and ventilation.
