• 12 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.
• Must have at least 24 months of Cardiothoracic Intensive Care Unit experience.
• Experience with Epic is required from any number of months.

2 Years CVI ICU experience
Interpretation/management of dysrhythmias, multi-system organ failure, thermoregulation, CABG, Intra-Aortic Balloon Pump, Impella, Post Cardiac Surgery (not directly from the OR), Pre/Post Cardiac Cath/intervention, Pulmonary Artery Line/Swan Ganz monitoring, Valve Replacement/Repair, LVAD/RVAD, CVVHD/CRRT, IV therapy (accessing ports, arterial line management, blood product administration, central line care/management, PICC line management, starting IVs), Medications (continuous IV paralytics/neuromuscular blockade, continuous IV sedation, emergency medications, procedural sedation administration, titrate cardiac drips, titrate vasoactive drips), CVA/Acute Stroke Management, Lumbar drains, assist with management of BiPAP, Assist with management of CPAP, Care of ventilated patient, high flow nasal cannula (HFNC), interpretation of ABGs, suctioning (ETT, NT), ventilator management, infection prevention, isolation precautions/Use of PPE, phlebotomy, surgical wounds with drains/would vac
