Scrum Master, IT Project Manager
Job Description
As a Senior Scrum Master you will be responsible for coordinating multiple cross‑functional Agile development teams utilizing the principles and tools of the Scrum Framework. You will assume a servant‑leadership role to support a self‑organized team to complete Scrum projects. You will identify and remove impediments to progress, facilitate sprint planning events, daily scrums, sprint reviews, and retrospectives, and support, coach and mentor team members to deliver business value in a Scrum @ Scale environment.
Responsibilities- Teach and mentor multiple teams on Lean, Agile, and Scrum/Kanban principles and best practices
- Facilitate team events that bring out the ideas of everyone on the team and ensure the outcomes of the events are achieved
- Work with the teams to implement and create new practices that improve the team’s ability to deliver better outcomes
- Foster a Kaizen mindset within and outside the team
- Help the teams remove their own barriers, leverage Scrum of Scrum’s to remove barriers the team is unable to remove, and challenge organizational impediments
- Partner with the Product Owner to stay in sync; ensure alignment of the product vision, goals, delivery of customer‑centric products, and a healthy backlog
- Work with the team and Agile Coaches to co‑create and refine team working agreements, definition of "ready", definition of "done", and a coaching backlog
- Coach the team and leaders to solve their own problems and empower the team’s ability to solve problems
- Be a change agent and help the teams navigate through organization change, leveraging ADKAR and other change‑management methodologies
- Participate in scaling adoption and scaled events, including cross‑team planning, delivery synchronization, dependencies, and systems‑level inspect & adapt
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Agile, Project Management or related disciplines
- 5+ years of experience on a Scrum team
- 5+ years of experience with Lean and implementing a Kaizen mindset
- 1+ year of experience working in a scaled environment, preferably Scrum @ Scale or SAFe
- Strong communication, interpersonal, coaching, teaching, and mentoring skills
- Embody the Scrum values:

- Advanced credential from the Scrum Alliance, Scrum Inc, Scrum.org, or ICAgile preferred
- Tech savvy with project and collaboration tools such as Jira, Confluence, Miro, and Office 365 preferred
- Encourages an experimental, fail‑fast, and learning mindset preferred
- Experience working with teams applying Dev Sec Ops capabilities to achieve delivery speed and operational stability preferred
- Experience in a scaled framework, especially but not limited to Scrum @ Scale, preferred
- Work with teams from a variety of technical domains, including warehouse management systems, ERPs, financial systems, and data‑warehouses preferred
- Remote work with the ability to travel to office locations as needed
Annual base salary range: $103,331 - $175,662. This amount reflects the expected pay range for this position; offer amounts may vary based on geographic location, education, experience, qualifications, skills, shift, and other factors. Eligible employees may also receive a bonus or sales incentive plan, subject to plan terms. For certain sales roles, a commission structure may be available based on sales results as defined by the applicable commission plan.
