Workday HCM Specialist

Job Description

• Manage projects end-to-end from planning through testing to delivery to ensure a successful end‑user experience for all new deployments and ongoing maintenance of Workday.
• Manage, analyze and troubleshoot case‑management tickets for all core HCM and Compensation or other business‑process related issues.
• Collaborate with field HR and functional Centers of Expertise to understand and translate business requirements into formal configuration requirements documentation.
• Effectively use process analysis and documentation methodologies, tools, and standards to assess and deploy new or re‑configured functionality.
• Analyze and manage Workday updates, including weekly fixes/enhancements, and provide recommendations to the Workday roadmap, including development and execution of test plans.
• Create and review HR Technology, field HR and Payroll audit requirements, reports, and processes.
• Maintain Standard Operating Procedure documentation for the HR Technology Team and Administrators, as well as blueprint configuration documentation.
• Partner with HR Technology counterparts, including Senior User Experience Specialist, to create content for Quick Reference Guides and training materials.
• Create, review, and load mass updates to data via EIBs.

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Finance, Information Systems, or a related discipline.
• Minimum of 5 years of directly related experience in HR systems, with at least 1 year of experience specifically with Workday HCM and Compensation configuration preferred.
