Job DetailsThe Project Manager will be responsible for all project-related financial, contractual, operational, and administrative functions. The ideal candidate understands the unique requirements associated with federal contracting and has a proven track record delivering successful construction projects.
Key Responsibilities- Manage projects from turnover through final closeout.
- Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and forecasts.
- Review contract documents, specifications, and drawings.
- Lead project planning, procurement, and subcontractor buyout activities.
- Manage submittals, RFIs, change orders, and project documentation.
- Coordinate with owners, contracting officers, design teams, and field personnel.
- Monitor project costs, productivity, and financial performance.
- Identify and mitigate project risks.
- Lead project meetings and maintain clear communication among stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with federal contract requirements and reporting obligations.
- Support quality control, safety initiatives, and project closeout processes.
- Mentor Project Engineers and Assistant Project Managers.
- 5+ years of Project Management experience in construction.
- Experience managing federal, military, institutional, healthcare, or public‑sector projects preferred.
- Knowledge of federal procurement and construction processes.
- Experience with USACE, NAVFAC, VA, GSA, DoD, or similar government agencies is highly desirable.
- Strong understanding of scheduling, cost control, and contract administration.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
