Role Description The Social Media Coordinator is responsible for planning, creating, and publishing content across the company’s social media channels to showcase menu items, promotions, and the overall guest experience. Day-to-day tasks include drafting posts, capturing and selecting photos or short videos, scheduling content, and monitoring comments and messages for timely, professional responses. The coordinator collaborates with restaurant management to align campaigns with business goals, track basic performance metrics, and suggest improvements to increase engagement and reach.
The role may also support in-store marketing efforts by coordinating digital promotions with on-site events and seasonal specials.
Qualifications
- Ability to create engaging Social Media Content Creation tailored to restaurant and hospitality audiences.
- Skills in Social Media Marketing and Digital Marketing to support campaigns, promotions, and community engagement.
- Strong Communication and Writing skills to maintain a consistent, brand-appropriate voice across platforms.
- Basic familiarity with major social platforms (e.g., Instagram, Facebook, Tik Tok) and scheduling tools.
- Attention to detail, reliable time management, and ability to work on-site in a busy restaurant environment.
- Experience in hospitality, food service, or retail marketing is beneficial but not required.
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional coursework in marketing, communications, or related fields is a plus.
