RN - Med-Surg Staff Nurse Pool - Night Shift

Hourly Pay Range:
$36.00 - $55.80 - The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate's expertise and years of experience, among other factors.

Job Description

Position: Staff Nurse Pool, Med/Surg

Location: Glenbrook Hospital, Glenview IL

Full Time/Part Time: Full Time - 36 hours/week; 12-hour nights

Hours: nights ; standard weekday with weekend rotation

Required Travel: Float to all medical surgical units at Glenbrook Hospital

What you will need:

License: Current professional Nursing Licensure in the State of IL required

Education: Graduate of a NLN accredited school of nursing required; BSN strongly preferred

Certification: BLS/CPR Certification for the Healthcare Provider required

Experience: Minimum of one-year of direct patient care experience required

What you will do:

• Independently provide safe, effective, and compassionate nursing care for a patient population on med-surg units across Glenbrook Hospital based on areas of greatest need
• Utilize the nursing process in planning, implementing, and evaluating the patient plan of care
• Guide and direct assigned unlicensed assistive personnel in delivering interdisciplinary patient care
• Communicate and collaborate with members of the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes and continuity of care
• Positively contributing to safety outcomes and promoting high quality patient experience
