Med Pro Healthcare Staffing seeks a travel nurse RN CVICU for assignment in Glenview, Illinois.

06/01/2026. Duration: 13 weeks. 36 hours per week, 12‑hour night shifts.

The CVICU registered nurse administers medications, checks vital signs, alerts doctors of significant changes, acts as liaison between doctors and patients, and educates families. Daily care involves patients following open‑heart surgery and heart transplant treatment. Additional duties include patient education for families.

• Administer care for patients after open‑heart surgery.
• Manage treatment and care of heart transplant patients.
• Educate patients’ families about ongoing needs and care.

• Active RN license.
• Degree from an accredited nursing program.
• BLS & ACLS certifications.
• Minimum 18 months recent experience in an acute‑care CVICU setting.
