Hourly Pay Range
$36.00 - $55.80. The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate's expertise and years of experience, among other factors.
Position Highlights- Position: Registered Nurse, Oncology
- Location: Evanston Hospital
- Kellogg Evanston Cancer Center - Part Time | 20 hours/week
- Hours: shifts will vary between Monday
- Friday: 2 days - 10 hour shifts, no weekends or holidays.
- The Staff Nurse will deliver safe and compassionate nursing care for all patient populations by planning, implementing, and evaluating the patient plan of care.
- The Staff Nurse will collaborate with nurses, physicians, and other members of the clinical team to ensure optimal patient outcomes and continuity of care.
- Independently provide safe, effective, and compassionate nursing care for a patient population on a specific unit
- Utilize the nursing process in planning, implementing, and evaluating the patient plan of care
- Guide and direct assigned unlicensed assistive personnel in delivering interdisciplinary patient care
- Communicate and collaborate with members of the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes and continuity of care
- Positively contribute to safety outcomes and promote high quality patient experience
- Licensure: Current State of Illinois Registered Nurse licensure, required.
- Education: Associate's in Nursing, required. Bachelor's in Nursing, strongly preferred.
- Certification: Current CPR Certification issued by either American Heart Association, required. OCN/ONS provider card preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 1 year of Oncology Outpatient Infusion Center experience, required. If no oncology experience, ED, ICU, PACU experience highly preferred.
