Position Responsibilities- Conduct comprehensive health assessments for new patients, orient them to services, and recommend appropriate programs to support weight loss and overall health goals.
- Order and interpret labs, write prescriptions, perform office procedures, and provide phlebotomy services within the scope of practice.
- Administer intramuscular and subcutaneous injections, and educate patients on self-administration when appropriate.
- Monitor key metabolic health markers (e.g., blood glucose, lipid levels, insulin resistance) using the Options Health Panel (OHP) to guide adjustments in care plans.
- Deliver personalized health coaching on metabolic health, nutrition, and lifestyle modifications to support long-term wellness.
- Educate patients on metabolic dysfunction, insulin resistance, and risk factors for metabolic syndrome, incorporating evidence-based practices and insights from the 12-Month Health Transformation (12
MHT) program. - Identify and manage metabolic syndrome and related conditions using appropriate treatment protocols.
- Maintain expertise in OMWL programs, pharmacology, and clinical protocols; act as a resource for patient care decisions and clinic policy.
- Partner with clinic leadership to enhance patient outcomes, operational efficiency, and overall clinic performance.
- Provide feedback to support continuous improvement in patient experience and business practices.
- Participate in ongoing training, skill validation sessions, and consultative sales process alignment to optimize patient engagement.
- Support the dyad leadership team in fostering collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.
- Perform other duties as needed in alignment with the organization’s mission.
- Must have weekend availability.
- This role requires prolonged periods of standing and sitting, including working at a computer for extended durations.
- Frequent direct patient interaction, requiring excellent interpersonal communication and the ability to engage with diverse patient populations in a clinical setting.
Skills and Abilities
- Successful completion of an approved Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program in accordance with respective state regulations.
- Current approval by the joint Board of Medical Examiners and/or Board of Nursing to perform medical acts.
- Must be currently licensed as a registered nurse or physician assistant in the state where the clinic is located.
- Must possess an unrestricted DEA license.
