- Night Shift
Hourly Pay Range: $36.00 - $55.80 - The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate's expertise and years of experience, among other factors.
Job DescriptionPosition: Staff Nurse Pool, Med/Surg
Location: Glenbrook Hospital, Glenview IL
Full Time/Part Time: Full Time - 36 hours/week; 12-hour nights
Hours: nights ; standard weekday with weekend rotation
Required Travel: Float to all medical surgical units at Glenbrook Hospital
What you will need:- License: Current professional Nursing Licensure in the State of IL required
- Education: Graduate of an NLN accredited school of nursing required; BSN strongly preferred
- Certification: BLS/CPR Certification for the Healthcare Provider required
- Experience: Minimum of one‑year of direct patient care experience required
- Independently provide safe, effective, and compassionate nursing care for a patient population on med‑surg units across Glenbrook Hospital based on areas of greatest need
- Utilize the nursing process in planning, implementing, and evaluating the patient plan of care
- Guide and direct assigned unlicensed assistive personnel in delivering interdisciplinary patient care
- Communicate and collaborate with members of the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes and continuity of care
- Positively contributing to safety outcomes and promoting high quality patient experience
