Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) RN will assist in recovering patients from anesthesia, monitoring them as they wake up from surgery until discharge or transfer to floor.

• Provide care for post‑operative patients recovering from anesthesia – including general, regional, and local blocks, treating both inpatients and outpatients as needed.
• Administer diligent care via monitoring, assessment, intervention, and continuous reassessment.
• Assist in medication administration, documentation, patient education, and interdisciplinary communication.

• Active RN license in Illinois (or applicable state).
• Degree from an accredited nursing program.
• BLS and ACLS certifications.
• At least 18 months of recent experience in an Acute Care PACU setting.
• Additional qualifications or assessments may be required by the client facility.
