Role: Registered Nurse, Breast Navigator
Responsibilities: Act as an advocate, educator, and counselor for breast disease patients; coordinate comprehensive patient care; serve as a clinical resource and liaison within the healthcare team and community; provide expert nursing care, patient education, and support; develop and review policies, promote evidence-based practice, and participate in research and quality improvement projects. Facilitate communication among patients, families, and providers; mentor staff;
and engage in community outreach and education initiatives.
Qualifications & Skills: Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Nursing; RN license;
Certified Breast Care Nurse (CBCN); CPR certification; oncology nursing experience; problem-solving skills; organized and time-conscious. Preferred:
Advanced Oncology Certified Clinical Nurse Specialist (AOCNS).
Key Duties: Provide age-appropriate care, educate patients and families, coordinate tests and treatments, support decision-making, ensure timely communication, and promote continuous professional development. Serve as a resource for community events and staff education, and contribute to process improvements and research efforts.
