Position: Registered Nurse Cardiovascular OR
Location: Glenbrook Hospital
Type: Full-time
Hours: 6:30a to 3p M-F with rotating call, weekend, and holiday schedules
- Providing direct perioperative patient care for pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients
- Serving as a patient advocate and ensuring safety in the surgical environment
- Collaborating with the surgical team to facilitate procedures
- Potentially mentoring new staff, developing educational programs, and managing supplies and equipment
- Graduate of a state-approved nursing school; BSN preferred
- Valid IL RN license and BLS certification
- At least 2 years of perioperative RN experience preferred
- Basic computer skills
- Strong assessment and patient advocacy skills
- Ability to work effectively within a team
- Commitment to safety and quality care
