The Hospital

The Role
  • Deliver high-quality, preventive-focused small-animal medicine, including wellness care, vaccinations, and parasite control
  • Perform general surgery and dentistry; utilize in-house diagnostics and imaging to guide care
  • Communicate clearly with clients, supported by multilingual and ASL interpretation services
  • Collaborate with veterinarians, technicians, and client service teams to ensure efficient, compassionate care
  • Maintain accurate medical records and uphold quality, safety, and compliance standards
  • Contribute to a positive, inclusive culture and mentor team members as appropriate
  • Participate in a consistent weekday and Saturday schedule with early-morning starts
Requirements
  • DVM or VMD degree from an accredited institution
  • License (or eligibility) to practice veterinary medicine in Illinois
  • Eligibility to work in the United States
  • DEA license (or eligibility) and controlled substance compliance
  • Strong clinical, communication, and teamwork skills
  • Comfortable with a busy, retail-embedded environment and Saturday coverage
