Sr. Analyst, Innovation Quality - Portfolio Brands

Job Purpose

This role ensures efficient and effective evaluation and risk management of innovation and commercialization projects. The position works closely with business units and cross‑functional teams to support the successful commercialization of new products, line extensions and product renovations, including trial, innovation, renovation and maintenance across internal and external manufacturing facilities.

• Attend project trials, first production runs and identify risk areas.
• Complete cross‑functional risk assessments for projects and processes.
• Support commercialization activities.
• Monitor, track and report corrective actions and timing of follow‑ups.
• Review food safety, quality and sanitation programs associated with project activities at production locations.
• Communicate business risk to cross‑functional partners.
• Ensure compliance with KHC quality and food safety standards from design stage through launch and post‑launch reviews.

• Quality experience within food or CPG, 3–5years.
• Plant quality experience in one or multiple food factories.
• Regulatory compliance familiarity with USDA, FDA or CFIA.
• Commercialization experience.
• Sanitation experience.
• Food safety / microbiology experience.
• Understanding of procurement processes.
• PCQI certification (preferred).
• Better Process Control School certification (preferred).
• Fundamental statistics knowledge (DMAIC, DFSS, Lean, Metrology, MSA, sampling procedures).
• Project management and collaboration with cross‑functional partners.
• Strong interpersonal communication skills.

Must be able to travel independently, drive a vehicle, fly commercially and reside near a major airport.

Travel required:

40–55%. The role is field‑based, requiring frequent visits to customer locations, stores, and manufacturing facilities. First‑shift work is required, with flexibility based on plant needs.

Occasional activity sustained up to one‑third of working hours; upright stance, keyboard or text input; sedentary—occasionally exerting 0–10lbs of force; limited movement from workstation for brief periods.

New Hire Base Salary Range: $89,800.00 – $. The position is eligible for a performance‑based bonus as provided by the plan terms and governing documents. Compensation is determined by internal equity and may vary by geographic region and candidate qualifications.
