The Quality & Regulatory Affairs Specialist works within the global Export Regulatory and Quality team to evaluate nutrition and regulatory compliance while supporting quality operations for Kraft Heinz products worldwide. This role is responsible for reviewing label graphics, protecting intellectual property, managing product specifications, investigating customer and consumer complaints, and completing compliance documentation. This is a 6-month hybrid contract role based out of the Glenview, IL facility.

Primary Responsibilities

• Evaluate technical product information and assess regulatory compliance in accordance with global market regulations and internal export policies.
• Review label graphics for regulatory compliance and technical accuracy in coordination with regional regulatory teams and external consultants.
• Support risk assessment evaluations for existing product portfolios entering new international markets.
• Safeguard corporate intellectual property regarding product formulations, packaging, and manufacturing processes.
• Investigate customer and consumer quality complaints using root cause analysis, collaborating with department managers to define corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
• Prepare, process, and complete required customer compliance documentation.
• Draft, create, update, and manage detailed product specifications within database systems.
• Provide technical operational support for export quality-related challenges.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Familiarity with food regulations, technical product specifications, and quality databases.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Strong drive for results with the ability to manage multiple concurrent projects independently under strict timelines.
• Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to handle complex data and cross-functional technical workflows.

Computer Proficiency Assessment Requirements

Education and Experience

• Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Food Science or a related scientific discipline is required.
• Entry-level to minimal professional experience within Regulatory Affairs, Nutrition, R&D, or Quality Assurance is required.
