Job Details

This position earns commission in addition to base pay. Successful candidates in this role are expected to earn $27.19–48.95 hourly plus up to $770 per period incentive. Base pay is based on several factors including work experience, education, geographic location, certifications, and more. The Lead Installer is responsible for window and door installation of a single job site. Ensures customer satisfaction, pre‑arrival planning for materials and resources, confirms measurement of windows and doors prior to the commencement of work, performs routine to complex installations, and ensures proper work site shutdown. Provides direction and/or training to an Installer in accordance with Renewal by Andersen's guidelines.

• Perform routine to complex window or door installations.
• Ensure customer satisfaction throughout the project.
• Pre‑arrival planning for materials and resources.
• Confirm measurements of windows and doors before work commences.
• Perform site shutdowns properly after work completion.
• Provide direction and training to Installers.

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years of window installation and remodeling experience (preferred).
• Minimum 5 years managing job sites and leading crews in a construction environment (preferred).
• Ability and willingness to coach and mentor other installers.
• Proven track record of superior workmanship.
• Scheduled availability to work when homeowners are available (7a.m.–7p.m.).
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Working knowledge of hand and power tools.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Effective communication with peers and homeowners.
• Confidence in handling confrontation using a tactful approach.
• Organization of tasks and job requirements.
• Proficiency in tool and equipment use.
• Empathy and customer‑service skills.
• Strong sense of accountability and teamwork.
• Diagnostic skills in assessment, problem solving, and decision making.
• Self‑motivation, time‑ and work‑process management, and ability to work independently.
