* Pay for Journeyman technicians:
* $45.65 per booked hour
Key Responsibilities
* Advanced Diagnostics:
Diagnose and repair complex engine, transmission, electrical, steering, suspension, brakes, and HVAC systems.
* Efficient Execution:
Perform high-quality repair work efficiently and within dealership and manufacturer standards.
* System Testing:
Test-drive vehicles and use advanced diagnostic tools to ensure fix-it-right-first-time quality.
* Clear Communication:
Work directly with Service Advisors to provide accurate repair recommendations and time estimates.
* Warranty Repairs:
Execute precise warranty work strictly to manufacturer specifications.
Requirements
* Experience:
2+ years of professional automotive technician experience (Journeyman level preferred).
* Skillset:
Strong diagnostic capabilities, electrical troubleshooting, and heavy engine repair skills.
* Credentials:
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; ASE certifications are a strong plus.
* Tech Savvy:
Ability to operate electronic diagnostic tools; CDK dealership software experience is a plus.
* Core Values:
High school diploma or equivalent, team-first attitude, and a focus on safety and efficiency.
