Art Teacher

• Deliver engaging, standards-aligned art instruction for students in grades 5–6 that fosters creativity, self-expression, and critical thinking.
• Develop meaningful lessons and hands‑on projects that introduce students to artistic techniques, creative processes, and visual expression.
• Create a positive, inclusive classroom environment where students feel encouraged to explore and share their ideas.
• Assess student progress, maintain accurate records, and collaborate with school staff to support student growth.

• Bachelor’s degree in Education, Art Education, or a related field
• Valid Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with appropriate Art endorsement
• Elementary and/or middle school art teaching experience preferred

• Competitive Pay

  Earn $36.10 - $36.90per hour, based on your experience and qualifications as an Art Teacher, with weekly pay and opportunities for bonuses and incentives.
