Quality Manager – Transportation & Logistics

We are seeking an experienced Quality Manager to lead and enhance Quality Management System (QMS) and compliance programs in the transportation and logistics space. This role is hands‑on, cross‑functional, and integral to guiding the organization through audits, certifications, and operational quality initiatives.

• Own and maintain the company’s Quality Management System (QMS)
• Monitor and investigate quality and security incidents (seal breaches, theft attempts, temperature deviations, etc.)
• Lead root‑cause analysis and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA)
• Maintain quality documentation, SOPs, and compliance records
• Prepare for, support, and lead internal and external audits
• Oversee certification and compliance initiatives, including TAPA TSR-1, CTPAT, and FAST
• Support processes related to becoming a bonded carrier
• Collaborate with Safety, Operations, and Maintenance to strengthen quality and security controls
  
  Support customer audits, compliance questionnaires, and insurance/claims documentation

• Prior experience in quality management, compliance, or operational roles within transportation, logistics, or supply chain
• Experience managing or supporting certification and compliance programs
• Familiarity with CTPAT requirements and customs/security processes
• Understanding of supply chain security, high‑value freight, and controlled shipments
• Excellent documentation, audit, and process‑management skills
• Strong written and verbal communication, with ability to work independently
