Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Safety and Quality Manager to oversee safety compliance, regulatory programs, and quality standards across trucking and transportation operations. This role is responsible for ensuring driver safety, DOT compliance, and continuous operational improvement to support reliable, on-time service.

The ideal candidate brings strong knowledge of FMCSA regulations, fleet safety programs, and transportation compliance management.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and enforce fleet safety and quality programs across transportation operations
  • Ensure compliance with DOT, FMCSA, and internal safety standards
  • Conduct safety audits, facility inspections, and incident investigations
  • Develop and deliver driver safety training, coaching initiatives, and corrective action plans
  • Monitor CSA scores, safety metrics, and regulatory performance indicators
  • Maintain accurate documentation and compliance records

    Partner with operations leadership to implement performance improvement initiatives
  • Promote a culture of safety accountability and continuous improvement
Requirements
  • Proven experience in transportation safety, fleet safety, or quality management
  • Proven experience with TAPA, CTPAT, AMEX9, Bonded Carrier Certification, and ISO standards
  • Strong knowledge of DOT and FMCSA regulations
  • Experience conducting audits, compliance reviews, and incident investigations
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and enforce compliance standards consistently
  • Strong analytical and reporting capabilities
  • Professional communication and leadership skills
  • Familiarity with ELD systems and fleet compliance software preferred
