Required Qualifications- Non-Union position.
- Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen and physical.
- Minimum 3 years’ experience maintaining/servicing heavy equipment.
- Possess a clean and valid Class B driver’s license, current print out required.
- Works with Equipment Superintendent or Lead man in a timely manner.
- Must be able to lift 75 lbs. unassisted.
- Conduct a complete pre-and post-shift safety inspection.
- Report unsafe conditions, accidents, or incidents immediately to the lead person or Manager.
- Communicate with the project manager and equipment supervisor on all safety and maintenance needs.
- Knowledge of truck air brake systems and ability to diagnose and repair problems.
- Ability to read, understand and apply all schematics, drawings, technical applications and logic.
- Experience on Cat 745 Articulating preferred but not required.
- Welding experience.
- Hydraulic & electrical experience.
- Mid-level diagnostic ability.
- Ability to perform repairs on components and attachments such as cutting edges and tooth replacement.
- Engine certifications a plus.
- Cat ET knowledge a plus.
- MSHA Cert preferred but not required.
- Must be detail oriented.
- Ability to multi-task.
