Retail Store Cleaning Associate

Home Goods is hiring a Retail Store Cleaning Associate to keep our store clean, safe, and welcoming. In this role, you will perform routine cleaning of sales floors, restrooms, breakrooms, and stock areas, including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, trash removal, and sanitizing high-touch surfaces. You'll monitor store conditions, quickly address spills or hazards, and follow all safety and chemical-handling guidelines. Working closely with store teammates, you help maintain an organized, positive shopping environment that reflects Home Goods' commitment to quality and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily cleaning of sales floor, restrooms, breakrooms, and stock areas
• Sweep, mop, vacuum, and remove trash according to schedule
• Sanitize high-touch surfaces and restock cleaning supplies
• Monitor store cleanliness throughout shifts and respond to spills or hazards
• Follow safety, chemical handling, and PPE guidelines
• Operate basic cleaning equipment such as vacuums and floor cleaners
• Communicate maintenance or safety issues to store leadership
• Support backroom and front-of-house organization as needed
