Build Something Meaningful. Lead Learning That Matters.
At Colorado 811, education is more than training. It is one of the ways we help protect people, communities, critical infrastructure, and the underground utilities that keep Colorado running.
We're looking for a Learning & Development Manager who wants to build, innovate, and lead learning programs that make a real difference across the state. This is a true player-coach role for someone who loves turning ideas into reality. You'll lead learning initiatives, build programs from the ground up, collaborate with subject matter experts, leverage emerging technologies, and help shape the future of education at Colorado 811.
We're looking for someone who enjoys taking ownership, spotting opportunities, solving problems, and driving projects from concept through launch.
This is not a "manage from the sidelines" position. It's an opportunity for a hands‑on leader who can think strategically while remaining actively involved in the work. One day you may be developing a new learning pathway, building eLearning content, or launching a certification program. The next, you might be partnering with stakeholders, coaching team members, improving LMS experiences, or exploring new AI‑enabled learning tools.
You'll join a small, collaborative team with ambitious goals, where initiative is valued, ideas move quickly, and everyone contributes. We take our mission seriously, but we don't take ourselves too seriously. We celebrate wins, support one another, enjoy a good laugh along the way, and believe great work happens when talented people genuinely enjoy working together.
