EVS Technician

As an EVS Technician, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and sanitation of patient rooms, offices, and common areas within a hospital setting. You will follow strict cleaning procedures to ensure a safe and hygienic environment for patients and staff.

Responsibilities

• Clean and service patient rooms, offices, and common areas, adhering to protocols for handling exposure to bodily fluids.
• Sweep, mop, and wax all floors using sanitized equipment, including floor polishers.
• Provide necessary supplies such as tissues, paper towels, and soap to designated areas.
• Dispose of trash and medical waste appropriately, maintaining sanitation of trash cans.
• Move furniture safely, ensuring no damage to items or walls.
• Use properly labeled chemicals and equipment to clean assigned areas, following cleaning procedures diligently.

Essential Skills

• Experience in EVS, janitorial, and cleaning within a hospital setting.
• Ability to maintain high levels of customer service with courtesy, compassion, and positive communication.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• At least 6 months of hospital or EVS experience.

Work Environment

Work within a hospital setting alongside a team of 6-8 individuals under the guidance of the Lead EVS and Director of Plant Operations. The facility includes 40 beds, a cafeteria, two stories, three smaller gyms, and a common area. Contractors will focus on room maintenance only, ensuring a clean and sanitary environment.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Golden, CO.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $23.00/hr eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
