Job Title
An employee in this class will perform a variety of unskilled and semi-skilled manual labor tasks in the maintenance and repairing of the park grounds and all related areas.
Essential FunctionsTasks will include, but not be limited to: weed eating and push mows, digging and back filling of ditches; assisting with the construction and maintenance of grounds and facilities; using any hand tools and some power equipment.
Minimum Qualifications- Ability to perform manual labor for extended periods, often under unfavorable weather conditions.
- Ability to lift heavy articles.
- Ability to operate and maintain machinery and equipment in a safe manner.
- Must be in good physical condition.
- Work schedule includes holidays and weekends, with possibly some evening work hours.
- High School diploma or GED required
- General knowledge of the safe use, operation and preventive maintenance of the equipment to which assigned.
