Agricultural Irrigation Mechanic

Glanbia Nutritionals -  - Responsibilities:
Ensure operation of irrigation systems and farm equipment by performing preventive maintenance on center pivots, irrigation systems above and below ground, tractors, planting and tillage implements, engines, motors, pneumatic tools; troubleshoot malfunctions using diagrams and manuals.;
Locate sources of problems by observing mechanical devices in operation; listen for problems; use precision measuring and testing instruments.;
Maintain equipment, parts, and supplies inventories; place and expedite orders; verify receipt.;
Maintain safe and clean working environment; comply with safety procedures and regulations; maintain maintenance logs.;
Promote teamwork and training; communicate actions and needs across shifts and with colleagues.
