Job Description
- Loads the assigned trailers in the sequence indicated by the loading documents. Checks store number and pieces. Scans pallets and doors to track and verify loads.
- Loads with reasonable care to prevent damage to product, pallets, or trailer and for maximum accuracy and efficiency.
- Wraps pallets to provide the necessary stability.
- Operates industrial mobile equipment.
- Keep assigned work area clean.
- Works in a safe and productive manner.
- Communicates with supervision on any issues effecting loading process (suggestions, ideas, problems, concerns).
- Verify all trips, repack, cigarettes, tobacco, VMC, circulars, etc. to insure accuracy.
- Work as a member of the AWG team so the total job responsibilities are met. Actions must always stress a sense of cooperation, integrity, tact and consideration with our members, associates and division management.
The individual must have the ability to perform the responsibilities listed below. The list is not all inclusive of duties that may be requested by the department head or a member of upper management but are intended for an understanding of the purpose of the position. It is the responsibility of each individual at AWG to provide ultimate customer service to our members to support their efforts in increasing same store sales and profits.

EDUCATION/CERTIFICATIONSand/or
EXPERIENCE:
High school diploma preferred; prior warehouse experience plus warehouse mobile equipment operating experience preferred.
LANGUAGESKILLS:
Ability to read and speak fluent English. Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating instructions, procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence relating to position.
MATHEMATICALSKILLS:
Ability to calculate figures and apply concepts of basic math and algebra.
REASONING ABILITY:Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form. Posses the ability to work with coworkers and gain mutual respect with a common goal of increasing sales and profitability.
