The Housekeeping/Sanitation is responsible for keeping the warehouse or distribution center and offices clean.
Responsibilities- Perform heavy cleaning duties such as cleaning floors by vacuuming and mopping.
- May be required to operate a floor sweeper.
- Keep walkways free of debris and spills.
- Clean break room, restrooms in office area, shipping, receiving, and driver’s lounges.
- Keep supplies stocked in break room.
- Empty trash receptacles and replace liners in the warehouse.
- Keep supply room stocked and orderly.
- Keep parking lot free of litter.
- Report safety violations to a member of management.
- Complete miscellaneous tasks as assigned by supervisor.
- Minimum six months of experience.
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Pass background and drug screen.
- Attention to detail.
- Split time between office, break room, and warehouse.
- Certified on PIT.
- Action oriented—tackling new opportunities with urgency, high energy, and enthusiasm.
- Collaborates—building partnerships and working collaboratively with others to meet shared objectives.
- Decision quality—making good and timely decisions that keep the organization moving forward.
