Field/Service Technician, Maintenance Technician / Mechanic
Our client, a leader in manufacturing and technical services, is seeking a Field Service Engineer-Charleston, SCto join their team. As a Field Service Engineer-Philly, you will be part of the technical support department supporting customer service and maintenance teams. The ideal candidate will have strong troubleshooting skills, excellent communication, and a proactive attitude which will align successfully in the organization.

Pay Range:$83,000 - $115,000
What's the Job?- Provide customers with maintenance, repair, and installation assistance of DMG MORI CNC machine tools on location or by telephone.
- Create and update documentation of technical information and generate reports related to service activities.
- Assist and train Customer’s Service Engineers on the installation and maintenance of newer product lines.
- Establish and maintain exemplary communication and customer service relationships with clients.
- Manage difficult customer situations in a positive manner, respond promptly to customer needs, and solicit feedback to improve service quality.
- High School diploma, GED, or Associate Degree in a technical field preferred.
- 3-5 years of experience in electrical and mechanical troubleshooting and maintenance of CNC machine tools.
- Experience working with DMG or MORI SEIKI machines, Fanuc, Mitsubishi, and/or Siemens controls is a plus.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a strong customer service orientation.
- Ability to read mechanical drawings, electrical schematics, and PLC ladder diagrams.
