The Town of Grafton is seeking motivated candidates for the part-time Custodian Position at the Nelson Park Library. This position is responsible for general maintenance of the Library space, including tasks such as rubbish removal, changing light bulbs, cleaning restrooms, and maintaining floors, windows, carpets, furniture and fixtures.
Successful candidates must possess knowledge of how to use specialized tools and sanitation best practices. Candidates should have the ability to plan and prioritize work, be self‑motivated, and perform multiple tasks within a timely manner. The selected employee must have the ability to operate cleaning and maintenance equipment in a safe and efficient manner. This position is expected to work between 6-10 hours per month
, with a pay rate of $21.86 per hour.
Qualifications:
high school diploma or equivalent, one (1) year prior work experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience. A pre‑employment physical will be required.
