Event Setup Assistant

Salary/Position Classification

• $14.00 Hourly, Non-Exempt (Eligible for overtime)
• 12 hours per week

This is a part-time, non-benefited position. Only UND students are eligible to be hired in this position.

• Complete all daily event set-ups, technical requirements, furniture, equipment, etc.
• Relay all pertinent information/issues to staff members as appropriate
• Assist with daily event management
• Maintain orderly appearance in all storage areas
• Responsible for appearance/cleanliness of public spaces and meeting rooms
• Conduct regular inventory of setup equipment
• Cooperative spirit in working with peers, supervisors, building partners, and guests
• Must wear protective safety equipment, including (at a minimum) closed-toed shoes, belted pants, and proper Memorial Union uniform

• Ability to work with diverse groups
• Enrolled in a minimum of 1 credit for the employed academic semester
• Successful completion of a Criminal History Background Check
