The Opportunity

We are collaborating with manufacturing firms in Grand Haven that are seeking skilled Maintenance Managers. Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement preventative maintenance programs for all manufacturing equipment.
• Manage and mentor a team of maintenance technicians, including scheduling and performance reviews.
• Oversee the repair and maintenance of all facility infrastructure, including HVAC, electrical, and plumbing systems.
• Manage the maintenance budget, including spare parts inventory and vendor contracts.
• Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies related to maintenance activities.
• Implement and track key performance indicators (KPIs) for maintenance effectiveness and efficiency.
• Collaborate with production and engineering teams to optimize equipment performance and reliability.

Recommended Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Facilities Management, or a related field
• 7+ years of progressive experience in maintenance management within a manufacturing environment
• Proven expertise in CMMS software (e.g., SAP PM, Maximo) for work order management, preventive maintenance scheduling, and inventory control
• Strong understanding of Lean manufacturing principles and their application to maintenance processes
• Demonstrated ability to lead, mentor, and develop a team of maintenance technicians
• OSHA 30-hour certification or equivalent safety training

Bonus Qualifications

• CMRP or SMRP certification
• Experience with CMMS implementation or optimization
• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification
• Proficiency in data analytics tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) for maintenance performance tracking
• Experience managing facilities or utilities in addition to production equipment
