Ottawa County Road Commission is seeking seasonal employees to assist in snow removal operations with openings available out of all four garages:
Coopersville, Grand Haven, Hudsonville, and Holland.
Those interested in these positions must:
- Already possess a valid Class A or B CDL license.
- Must have a current DOT medical certification.
- Must be registered with FMCSA Drug and Alcohol Clearinghouse and agree to drug testing.
- Experience in the operation of snow removal equipment 35,000GW and over preferred.
Want to just work only when needed for snow removal or do you want to work with guaranteed 40 hours per week? We can work with you on what works for you. If you do want the guaranteed full workweek then when not plowing snow, this position would do manual work such as flagging, tree work, patching, etc.
Rate of hourly pay: $30.00
Overtime rate ($45.00/hr.) is paid after working an 8-hour day or after forty (40) hours per week.
