The Pump Maintenance Team Member is responsible for maintaining the exterior and grounds of the Pump & Pantry facility ensuring a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for customers and team members. This role supports store operations by performing routine maintenance, minor repairs, and upkeep of outdoor equipment and property.

Bosselman Pump & Pantry offers on-demand pay (access to earned but not yet paid wages) through:

• Paints interior and exterior surfaces as directed.
• Inspects the facility and notify management of needed major repairs, safety hazards, or issues involving lighting, heating, ventilation, or structural concerns.
• Operates power equipment such as power washers, lawn mowers, trimmers, snow blowers, and related tools.
• Maintains the cleanliness, organization, and overall appearance of the Pump & Pantry grounds, including parking lots, sidewalks, fuel islands, trash areas, and landscaping.
• Completes assigned daily/shift worklists and submit documentation to the General Manager.
• Ensures all cleaning and maintenance supplies are stocked, labeled, and stored according to company and OSHA standards.
• Follows all company safety procedures, including proper use of PPE and safe operation of tools and equipment.
• Provides friendly, competent customer service when interacting with customers or assisting store staff.
• Reports to work on time and maintain reliable attendance.

Additional Job Duties

• Assists with snow removal, ice melt application, and seasonal outdoor tasks.
• Supports store staff with light indoor maintenance tasks as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Supervisory Responsibilities

• This position has no supervisory responsibilities.

Education and/or Experience

• General maintenance, groundskeeping, custodial, or facility upkeep experience preferred.
• Experience using power tools, lawn equipment, or maintenance equipment is helpful.

Minimum Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Must have a valid driver's license and be insurable to drive company or personal vehicles for work tasks.
• Must possess a positive, enthusiastic attitude and strong work ethic.
• Must be adaptable and able to adjust to changing priorities or weather conditions.
• Strong communication skills and ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Must be well-groomed and properly attired according to company standards.
• Must be able to work holidays, weekends, and varied shifts as needed.
• Must have reliable transportation and a working phone.
• Must be able to communicate in English (if applicable).
• Able and willing to provide friendly, courteous, and prompt customer service.
• Able to work cooperatively with other team members and management.
• Must be able to work independently with minimal supervision.

Physical Requirements

• Must occasionally lift and/or move up to 60 lbs., while performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to stand for long periods of time; frequently walk, use hands and fingers, handle or feel, reach with hands and arms, talk and hear; occasionally sit, climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl.
