As a Maintenance Associate at Sam’s Club, you are responsible for ensuring members see a well‑kept parking lot, clean restrooms, and clean floors. This means you are constantly on your feet and on the go.

Responsibilities include:

• Ensuring a safe and clean environment for members and associates by performing maintenance as necessary, responding to spills, operating floor scrubbers, and disposing of cardboard, plastic, and trash in accordance with the Company Environmental Sustainability Program.
• Maintaining safety of the facility by following safety standards, procedures and guidelines including safety sweeps, proper forklift spotting procedures, handling and disposing of hazardous materials, steel standard guidelines, and reporting unsafe situations.
• Cleansing all areas of the facility (floors, windows, restrooms, trash receptacles) following company procedures and using approved chemicals, supplies, tools, and equipment.
• Managing appropriate levels of company‑approved chemicals and supplies, ensuring rotation and proper storage, and placing orders when supplies are low.

The hourly wage range for this position is $17.00 to $25.00. The actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the applicable minimum wage. Additional compensation in the form of premiums may be paid ranging from $0.35 per hour to $3.00 per hour according to schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed.
